The Motorola Edge S is the first Motorola smartphone to use Snapdragon 800 series chipset. It is said to be the cheapest flagship device being sold in China. The smartphone comes with four rear camera sensors, a large battery, and many other interesting features. So let’s have a look at the price of the smartphone and the key specifications of the device.

Motorola Edge S Pioneer Edition is being sold in China for a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant for CNY 1,999. While the other two color variants including Emerald Lite and Mist are priced at CNY 1,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone is available for purchase on the official website of Motorola and jd.com.

There is absolutely no change in the specifications of the Pioneer version and the Moto Edge S. The smartphone has a 6.7-inch LCD with a resolution of 2520 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It comes with HDR10 support. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Moto Edge S is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The processor is the latest by Qualcomm and is being touted as an improved version of the Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC. The Edge S has a 5,000mAh battery that supports a 20W fast charge.
