Officials said three children were washed away in the floods in Xincheng, Guangxi region. 2 died and one child was rescued. Roads and bridges were washed away in Yunnan’s Qubei County due to the storm. Communication lines were broken. Power went out in many areas. Quebec County is approximately 130 kilometers north of the Sino-Vietnam border.

In Wuping County, about 210 kilometers from the coastal city of Xiamen, which also received heavy rains. The roads here were filled with mud. The storm caused a lot of damage to the crops. Here 39 houses were destroyed. A rescue official said more than 1,600 people had been rescued in Wuping County.

In the year 2021, China received the heaviest rain in 1,000 years. It affected nearly three million people in Henan province. Crops were damaged in an area of ​​more than 2,15,200 hectares. There was a direct economic loss of about 1.22 billion yuan.
