Police Inspector Soren Thomson said it was too early to speculate on the motive for the shooting, which took place yesterday afternoon at the largest shopping mall in the Scandinavian country on the outskirts of the Danish capital, AP news agency reported. Danish TV channel TV2 broadcast a photo of the gunman wearing a sleeveless shirt and holding a rifle in his right hand. In the mall, The shooting took place on the outskirts of Copenhagen, right in front of a metro station on a subway line that connects the city center to the international airport. There is also a big highway next to the mall.
According to reports, an event for British singer Harry Styles was to be held near the mall at 8 pm which was canceled after the incident.
