Ariana Grande’s brother, Frankie Grande, recently offered an update on his sister’s well-being following her divorce from Dalton Gomez. In a fresh interview with PEOPLE on October 19, Frankie, aged 40, shared, “We’re all doing great,” in response to inquiries about how the 30-year-old “Break Free” songstress has been coping since her divorce was officially concluded earlier this month.
Frankie refrained from delving into the specifics of Ariana’s separation from the 28-year-old real estate agent. Nonetheless, her split from Dalton attracted significant attention after news of their breakup surfaced in July, just shy of their two-year marriage anniversary. Although the official date of their separation was noted as February 20, the divorce paperwork wasn’t filed until September.
Upon finalizing their divorce, reports indicated that the Don’t Look Up actress agreed to a one-time payment of $1.2 million to Dalton instead of monthly spousal support payments.
Mere days after the announcement of Ariana’s forthcoming divorce, rumors began circulating regarding her blossoming romance with Ethan Slater, her co-star in the musical “Wicked,” during the summer. Although initial reports suggested that the new couple had recently embarked on their relationship, Ethan, aged 31, initiated divorce proceedings from his estranged wife, Lilly Jay, within that very month, leading to considerable controversy.
Ethan and Lilly had been childhood sweethearts and took their vows in 2018, celebrating the arrival of their child in 2022. The unexpected romance between the Broadway actor and the former Nickelodeon star, Ariana, took many by surprise, including Lilly. In July, Lilly made a succinct statement in response to her husband’s new relationship, remarking, “[Ariana] is the focal point here. Not someone who values female friendships. My family is just caught in the crossfire. The spotlight is on her and Dalton.”

“In early October,” the outlet reported, “Ethan informed his friends and soon-to-be ex-wife that he’s living with Ariana full-time in New York.” By that point, the couple no longer concealed their romantic involvement and had been seen on public outings, including visits to a Disney theme park.
However, neither Ariana nor Ethan has publicly addressed their relationship. Their much-anticipated live-action adaptation of Wicked is slated for release in theaters in November 2024.
