In an exclusive video interview with HollywoodLife, 31-year-old Corinne Olympios shared her perspective on why “The Golden Bachelor” reality series is the much-needed addition to The Bachelor franchise. The former contestant from season 21 of The Bachelor expressed her admiration for the participants on the show, designed for older individuals, and described them as “authentic,” which she believes lends a “rejuvenating” atmosphere to the show.
“I have a lot of love for Gerry. He’s genuinely kind and sweet. I’m genuinely happy for him,” she conveyed to HL, referring to Gerry Turner, the charismatic 72-year-old from Indiana seeking love on the series.
Olympios continued, “I firmly believe that the individuals on the show are here for more genuine reasons, rather than just aiming to become the next influencer. This shift is genuinely refreshing and heartwarming to witness, especially after five years of contestants primarily pursuing influencer status rather than authentic love.”
She further added, “It also clarifies why there are fewer couples lasting post-show these days. I genuinely hope he discovers a true, enduring connection.”
Aside from discussing “The Golden Bachelor,” Corinne also hinted at her upcoming ventures. She revealed, “There’s a multitude of projects on the horizon — though I can’t reveal much at the moment. There’s much in development that truly excites me. Stay tuned because there are exciting developments on the way.”
When it comes to Corinne’s romantic life, she referred to it as “complicated,” but her spirits remain high. She shared, “‘It’s complicated,’ and [I’m] very content.” However, she chose not to provide further details.
