Jennifer Lopez Playfully References Previous Marriages in 'Can't Get Enough' Music Video

Jennifer Lopez embraces the humor surrounding her multiple marriages in her latest music video for the single “Can’t Get Enough,” released on Wednesday, January 10. The 54-year-old superstar playfully addresses her history with weddings in the video, kicking off with a scene where she ties the knot with Tony Bellissimo in a picturesque outdoor ceremony. Clad in a white cutout gown, Jennifer exchanges vows while some wedding guests engage in gossip about the bride.

While Jennifer Lopez and her husband revel in their reception festivities, a surprise new groom, portrayed by Derek Hough, unexpectedly emerges for the first dance. Following the duo’s ballroom-style routine, a third and last groom, played by Trevor Jackson, joins Jennifer for the seated dinner and a lively group dance. A wedding guest remarks, “Third time’s the charm?” to which another guest retorts, “You wanna bet?”

The initial track from Jennifer’s forthcoming album, “This Is Me…Now,” is “Can’t Get Enough,” set to release on February 16 alongside the accompanying Prime Video film, “This Is Me…Now: A Love Story.” The announcement of the music video’s release was made by the Hustlers star on Instagram, stating, “It’s finally here!!! The #CantGetEnough single and video are out…NOW!”

Jennifer used the “Can’t Get Enough” music video as a lighthearted nod to her previous marriages. Having been married three times to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, and Marc Anthony, she later rekindled her relationship with Ben Affleck and married him in August 2022. Additionally, Jennifer was engaged to Alex Rodriguez, but their relationship ended in 2021.

While gracing the red carpet at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards on January 7, Jennifer engaged in a conversation with Variety, offering a glimpse into the music video and debut single from her upcoming album, inspired by her relationship with Ben. She hinted at a surprising narrative, describing it as a “meta story” that chronicles the journey from heartbreak back to love. Reflecting on her own experiences, she shared, “I am somewhat of an expert, you could say, in a real way. Not so much about marriage but on weddings.” Jennifer added with a touch of humor, “Again, I don’t take myself too seriously. I think that life is a crazy journey where you fall down and you get back up, and you keep trying and you never give up.”

Regarding Ben’s perspective on the “Can’t Get Enough” video, Jennifer shared, “He views me as an artist. He understands that I’m going to express myself. He’s my most significant fan and supporter, just as I am of him.”
