iPhone 13: This is what the new Apple smartphone should look like

There are still a few months until the official launch of the iPhone 13. Thanks to a new leak, you can already see the presumed design of the smartphone. The published 3D model shows you all the changes that the industry experts have revealed to us in recent months.

If Apple stays true to its tradition, then the manufacturer should introduce the iPhone 13 to us in September. As always, the manufacturer remains silent until then. This is of little use, however, because there are enough industry experts and leaders who provide us with information and rumors in advance. The latest leak from Jon Prosser shows us the iPhone 13 as a CAD design, i.e. as a 3D model that you can download and view from all sides. You can find the links in the video description.

As in previous years, Apple will not make any groundbreaking design changes to its flagship in 2021. In the past few months, various rumors and leaks have told us what should be different with the iPhone 13. The CAD images Jon Prosser shows us have captured all of these design changes.

You can see that the iPhone 13 should come with a slightly smaller notch. It shouldn’t go away completely until Apple is able to place the front camera and sensors under the display. This year it would be too early for that. In addition, the case of the iPhone 13 is slightly thicker compared to its predecessor. Finally, there is the new camera design, in which the lenses should be installed diagonally in the module.

Another reason why the new generation will be thicker: the new battery sizes in the iPhone 13 series. Jon Prosser also shares the rumor in his video. There are good reasons for increasing the energy storage capacity: Since the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 should be equipped with a 60-Hertz screen and the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max with a 120-Hertz display, they inevitably also need larger batteries to meet the higher energy requirements.
