Cardi B Receives Drink Thrown by Fan During Concert and Responds by Hurling Her Mic

During a recent concert, rapper Cardi B faced a disturbing incident when an individual in the audience attempted to disrupt her performance. In a string of incidents targeting singers during live shows, this time it was Cardi B’s turn. Video footage captured the moment when someone in the crowd threw a drink at the rapper, splashing her in the face. Enraged by the disrespectful act, Cardi instantly retaliated by hurling her microphone back at the person responsible, landing a direct hit on their face. The incident showcased Cardi’s quick and assertive response to defend herself, leaving no room for such disruptive behavior during her performances.

During her performance of the hit song “Bodak Yellow,” Cardi B graced the stage, donning a flowy orange dress. As she was walking and captivating the audience with her music, an unexpected interruption occurred when a drink was thrown at her, halting her momentarily. Undeterred, the music continued playing in the background. Determined to take action, Cardi quickly identified the culprit and responded by launching her microphone at them. Subsequently, her vigilant security team promptly apprehended the individual and escorted them away from the audience. The incident was captured from different angles in two separate videos, which have surfaced online, showcasing the entire incident and Cardi B’s assertive response to the disruption.

Just this month, singer and songwriter Harry Styles became the latest performer to face an unfortunate incident while onstage in Vienna. A bouquet of roses was thrown at him during a concert in Cardiff, Wales, the previous month, adding to the list of artists who have experienced such incidents during their live performances.

Concertgoers have recently been displaying a troubling trend of hurling objects at singers during their performances, and Cardi B and Harry Styles are the latest artists to fall victim to this behavior. Unfortunately, this disrespectful act has affected other performers as well, including Bebe Rexha, Drake, Kelsea Ballerini, Steve Lacy, Kid Cudi, and Pink, all of whom have faced similar incidents during their live shows.

During a performance in New York City last month, Bebe Rexha, aged 33, experienced a distressing incident when a member of the crowd, identified as Nicolas Malvagna, threw his phone at her in the midst of a song. The impact of the phone hitting her caused her to be knocked to the ground, resulting in a split eyebrow that required stitches, as reported by People magazine. The unfortunate incident left the musician injured and added to the concerning trend of concertgoers engaging in disruptive and harmful behavior towards performers.

Recently, Kelsea Ballerini encountered a troubling incident during a show in Boise, Idaho, where she was struck in the face by an object. On the other hand, Pink had to deal with an incredibly disturbing situation when a fan threw a bag containing their deceased mother’s ashes onto her stage. A video of the moment captured by an attendee and shared on Twitter showed Pink’s bewildered reaction, stating, “I don’t know how I feel about this.” These incidents highlight the distressing trend of inappropriate behavior towards performers during live concerts.

Earlier this month, during a break in her Weekends with Adele show at The Colosseum in Las Vegas, Adele took a moment to address the concerning safety issues occurring at concerts. In a fan-filmed video, the 35-year-old Hello singer expressed her frustration, stating, “Have you noticed how people are forgetting f—ing show etiquette at the moment? People are throwing s— on stage. Have you seen that?” She then lightened the mood with a touch of humor, daring anyone to try such an act, and playfully remarked, “I f—ing dare you — I dare you to throw something at me. I’ll f—ing kill you.” Adele’s response highlights the seriousness of the matter and the need for concertgoers to respect performers and show proper etiquette during live shows.
